Today's newsletter is PACKED with new developments and important benchmarks that offer a glimpse into the foundational technologies that will fundamentally alter our lived experience in the years to come.

This rate of development is exciting, but how can we not feel overwhelmed by this constant stream of incredible capabilities that we will need to adapt to in our toolset if we want to survive in the new automated era?

Besides, using these new technologies already demands significant mental strength; if not, read what Microsoft Research says about how systematic use of GenAI cognitively overwhelms many people.

It really seems that if we stop, we'll fall behind. However, I don't think so. To have your own personal view, ideas, and original thoughts (probably the most important skills in the new overcrowded remixed AI information era), you need time to digest.

Resting is crucial for clarity, mental processing, and finding purpose, and we will need a lot of these in the upcoming years.

That being said, this is the last email you will receive in 2024. I will recharge my batteries (with lots of food, probably) to be prepared for the promising AI developments in 2025, particularly in agent technologies and exciting AI video generation progress.
