The constant stream of new AI developments, combined with the need to stay up-to-date and adapt, alongside the contrast between modern society's apparent freedom and the underlying pressures it imposes, creates a perfect storm that leads to burnout.

Byung-Chul Han's book "The Burnout Society," suggests that true freedom and well-being require embracing contemplation and setting boundaries against the excess of internal and external pressure to hustle/grind and hyper-stimuli in our lives.

It won’t hurt to have another perspective about healthier ways to thrive in the future.

Creating cutting-edge AI is SUPER pricey. It needs huge investments, top-notch scientists and engineers, and a ton of electricity. For example, just the infrastructure for Microsoft's Bing AI chatbot is estimated to cost around $4 billion.
